Offered is a beautiful, new and in mint condition, authentic Medium size S.T. Dupont's Olympio "Poudre d'Or" fountain pen. This exquisite pen displays the true artistry of Dupont's multi- layer Chinese lacquer technique.the Colorado Pen Company in Tyson's Corner, VA in 1998 and the pen was special ordered for me from Dupont in New York. For those unfamiliar with the Olympio series of Dupont pens, the pen measures 5 7/8 inches capped and 6 3/8 inches posted. The fountain pens use both cartridges and the supplied converter for filling from bottled ink. The condition of this example is new "mint" never having been filled or dipped, the presentation box and all documentation are also in "mint" condition. The exterior shipping box is properly labeled but shows light signs of storage wear. This rare and difficult to find Dupont model would make a highly valued addition to any Dupont collector's collection or a very special gift to someone of importance.
