It's brand new. I just made it. This piece is an original design by the emerging glass artist Darren Goodman (me). My work is already in one art museum and several art galleries throughout the USA. are the details for this piece: Width: 14.5" Height: 8" Colors: This bowl has shades of very deep cherry red on the inside and shades of purple on the outside. A baby blue lip wrap winds its way around the rim. This bowl will sit very nicely on its side if you want to display it that way. See close ups below. Although I sell my art in stores and galleries, I also sell on Ebay because I can quickly find out if people like a particular style. RECENT QUESTIONS I HAVE RECEIVED: What kind of galleries do you show your work in? I mostly show my work in contemporary glass galleries. The pieces for these galleries are highly sophisticated sculptures which are cut and polished (the picture to the right is an example). This series is called my "Pathway" series. Do you operate your own glass blowing studio? Yes - I started my own glass studio about one year after graduating college, and have now been operating my own hot glass studio since February 2005! I teach private lessons during the spring, winter and fall, and during the summer I focus exclusively on my work - primarily the sculptural glass.
