You are bidding on a United States Army Government Issue (GI) Cap Field Cotton M-1951. This is an excellent example in a size 7 it was made by HAMELCO. INC. and is dated 28 NOV 1950. Pattern dated 11 August 1950 N.Y. QM P.A. This is a much coveted hat that every Infantry Soldier in the 1970's wanted to wear as his Patrol Cap. These were worn for many years as the standard field cap by Army Rangers. This was a recent walk in to my military shop and came from a collection in SE Kansas.
