Over the next few months, I will be offering a variety of U.S. patches, mostly from World War II, which originate from an Army surplus store (Lewis Army Surplus) that closed in 1975; among the patches I will be listing are those from the personal collection of the former owner. Earlier this year, I purchased these patches from the son of the former owner, who passed away in 1975 or shortly thereafter. Although I am not a collector of U.S. patches, I took some time to research them and managed to identify most of them (fortunately, the former owner had identified many of the patches, making them much easier for me to identify). I have decided to list the patches in small groups according to services, corps, divisions, etc., and am showing photos of both the front and reverse. Since I know little about U.S. patches and am selling them without a return privilege, I encourage bidders to study the photos, and if desired, request additional photos. All patches will be mailed via the United States Postal Service (USPS) and will be sent by insured first class mail, which the buyer is expected to pay. I am offering the following patches in this grouping: 4th Armored Division 5th Armored Division 11th Armored Division 8th Armored Division 15th Armored Division 16th Armored Division
