This is a change in the fountain pen material special series. Only on engeika you will find this new Sailor Series!! In the Yayoi period, (500BC-3000AD), the agriculture, plantation of rice, pottery was first introduced in Japan from the foreign shores. In this period the bronze material tools were also imported to Japan for first time. From the bronze material, the stone daggers and arrowheads were made. As you all know that the bronze material was later used in preparing fountain pens. So Sailor picked this Yayoi periods theme in making this fountain pen. They want to embark the change in the fountain pen material according to the period. If you carefully see the pens clip, it has a stone daggers arrowhead shape with ancient bronze made pens design.
