Due to the large amount of deadbeat bidders and relists I've had to complete lately I must stress that if you win you are expected to pay within 10 days as laid out in the auction terms. You are bidding on an original print run set of the Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon manga . This is the official English translation and release that was put out by Mixx (which later became TokyoPop). These are the book forms originally released as "Pocket Mixx" and are mirrored mates to the run of Sailor Moon manga that was released in Japan. All of these are original first production run prints in exceptional condition.Books 1-17 are included, I do not have book 18 (Stars 3) but it can still be found in the back bins of a few comic stores and it shows up on eBay from time to time for around $10.00 since it sold poorly due to frequent delays before release. Sadly, this is not the case with the other books which have become impossible to locate.Included in this auction are...Sailor Moon (full run, books 1-11)Sailor Moon SuperS (full run, books 1-4 [12-15])Sailor Moon Stars (books 1-2 [16-17)These are terribly difficult to find these days and will never see a reprint since the publishing and distribution rights reverted back to the original creator way back in 2004. Regardless of how much demand and interest t is in printing and selling these again, it simply cannot legally be done and it looks as if that will never change.Incredible care has been taken with every single one of these books to ensure their condition remained in the utmost shape. Each one was purchased by me, directly from a local comic store, directly out of their shipment before they hit the sales rack. This set has never been read, only a few books have been flipped through for confirmation of events and translation information. T is absolutely no wear and they were stored in a climate controlled room in a cool, dark, dry cabinet away from sunlight and dust. Take a look at the pictures below and see for yourself.Back in the late 1990's I was one of those crazy moonies that was on the front lines of keeping Sailor Moon running and accessible in the United States. My former website (Sailor Senshi Sanctuary) was one of the largest in existence only behind the huge ones like SenshiTV. During those times I made a lot of great friends, a lot of not-so-friends made, and simply had a wild time riding this huge anime wave of the 1990's. I was also involved with Save Our Sailors Deutschland (the German sister association of SOS USA) for a short while. Web hosting got expensive (you can only imagine the bandwidth my site consumed) into 2000 so I had to bid farewell to my Sailor Moon site. A lot of us got older and went our separate ways, feeling the burnout of fighting for this little anime series for so long. I however remained active in the remaining community, eventually working on a few small projects during the last days of Sailor Moon in the USA. Most recently I was slated at the voices of Artemis, Professor Tomoe, and Seiya Kou / Sailor Starfighter in a series of new Sailor Moon video games which never materialized beyond an early prototype (I only ever read for and was used as Artemis at that point). After that I came to the realization that the community was pretty much done for and it was time to simply enjoy Sailor Moon for myself and look back on the great things that it brought to a lot of our lives. I still continue to pass on knowledge about the title, have many animation cels from the animated series, and lots of little this and thats from the years of working around the phenomenon. I'm getting rid of my manga because they've been packed away for years now and aren't doing me any good - they should provide enjoyment to someone who is not familiar with the original manga as I am.
