Pen and ink drawing of a church with a round tower. Drawn on a sheet of card.Signed and dated to the lower left corner of the image MM Blake 98 Titled in pencil at the foot of the sheet St Julian's, King St. Tower dates from before the Conquest. Drawn on a sheet of card and probably used in a publication as it has 3 1/2 " written in pencil at the head of the sheet. A pencil line is drawn down the left side of the card.Small crease to the right edge of the sheet of card. Some soiling and light browning.Some partial and trimmed pencil drawing to the rear.St Julian's Church in Norwich was destroyed in bombing during World War II and reconstructed in the 1950s, although the tower was not rebuilt to its full height.The sheet measures approximately 25 x 16cm.Please visit my Ebay shop to see more watercolours and drawings.It will be sent carefully packed in a board backed envelope and postage will be combined wherever possible.Payment can be made either by PayPal - goods will be sent normally next working day; or by Sterling cheque drawn on a UK bank - goods will be sent as soon as the cheque has cleared.
