HELEN SHAFTER FEYLER SWITZ - LISTED CALIFORNIA - "Miss Pretty" Helen is listed on ; see her full name HELEN SHAFTER FEYLER SWITZ. T his oil is unsigned and is from a recently uncoveredx number of oils, sketches and watercolors. Helen had set aside this group of works that date from her earlier works in the 40's when as a young artist she was experiencing the elation of creation! Based upon photographs of Helen from this period I would venture to say that this is Helen. Her brush work and palette colors are quite interesting; if you enjoy art and painting you ought to enjoy Helen's works very much. In good vintage condition, 9" x 12", on canvas board; painting will need cleaning, touchup and final finishing. (Item maybe returned within 3 days of receipt. All orders sent USPS flat rate w/delivery confirmation; insurance recommended, combination shipping possible but weight always will determine costs and I will always seek the best rates to ship for my customers.)
