New- Painted on the Inside Destination Ornaments are each individually hand painted using a centuries old tradition of painting on the inside of the mouth blown glass. The use of this art form results in a distinguished luster not attainable by standard painting techniques. Painting each unique ornament from the inside is a meticulous skill that requires the artist to insert a miniature brush through the top of the ornament and layer each color of paint. The artist's articulate attention to detail and their time, upwards of 15 hours per painting, ensures each Destination ornament exceeds hand painting standards This ancient art form has been practiced for over one thousand years by skilled artisans Hand made Silk Box - Each Destination ornament comes in it's own display box. Additionally, the box is lined with white satin and is held closed with a brass hook style clasp.
