SALVADOR DALI - ORIGINAL DIVINE COMEDY PARADISE 32 "PREPARATION FOR THE FINAL PRAYER" WOODBLOCK PRINT ON BFK RIVES PAPER FROM THE FRENCH EDITION OF DIVINE COMEDY, ISSUED BY LES HEURES CLAIRES IN THE EARLY 1960S In nice condition - In an attractivesilver metal frame, glass was cracked and removed from frame.Frame size 17 x 12 inches.All photos are of the actualart being sold. No stock photos are used.IMPORTANT NOTE! This is an original, final-state woodblock print which should not be confused withmany of thefake Divine Comedy offset lithograph prints, some withreproduced "Dali" signatures, being soldto uninformed buyers and which are basically worthless. To produce each of the final-state woodblock prints ina genuineDivine Comedy suite, it usually required from20 to37 separate woodblocks to be carved, one woodblock for each color of the print. The process is extremely labor intensive, which explains the long time frame (years) required to produce the entire Divine Comedy suite.
