Incredibly detailed and full of rich character!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Spanish artist Salvador Dali (1904 - 1989) was a groundbreaking icon of the Surrealist movement and of the greatest artists of the 20th century. His work probed the unconscious world of thoughts, dreams and perception in fanciful and nightmarish images influenced by Freud, Cubism, Futurism, and metaphysical art. Extraordinarily imaginative, he also sculpted, and contributed to fashion, photography and theater. Dali's art has been called the epitome of Surrealism. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Salvdaor Dali "Homage To Lincoln" is hand signed and numbered 149/150 in pencil, Limited Edition of 150 . Part of the original/first printing on Arches paper, published in 1974 in Jobin, Paris. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from the Upstairs Gallery in Long Beach California in 1980, appraising this beauty at $2000, and has only appreciated in value since then! Entire piece is professionally framed and has been preserved BEAUTIFULLY! Frame is incredible and makes the Lithograph POP! Consists of 1.5" Thick of Golden Frame, with inner triple matting and an outer extended or heightened matte for a deep "shadow box" effect.
