Fantastic hallmarked silver hip flask made by Sampson Mordan in London 1899. Fully hallmarked as follows: Leopard's head for London S.M&Co for Sampson Mordan & Co Lion passant for Sterling Silver Date letter d for 1899 Both the lid and body of the box have full matching hallmarks - the marks on the lid are partly rubbed but readable. 6cm / 2.5 inches high. 4 cm / 1.75 inches wide Weight 35 grams. Condition is very good. Lid screws on tightly, there is some build up of dirt at the bottome of the neck, I will leave it to the buyer to decide whether to clean this off or not. Monogram to the front. One tiny ding (3mm long) to front left hand side of the flask. No reserve - auction runs through to Sunday June 24. Thanks for looking. Please check out my other items !
