You are bidding on an Exquisite "Les Fleurs d'Amour" (Flowers of love) Merry-Go-Round from the San Franciso Music Box Company. These were limited edition of 5000 made. The original purchase price was $500.00. Comes with Certificate of Authenticity. It has been retired for 12 years. The pictures you are seeing are scanned from the brochure that came with the music box. It is so hard to get really good pictures I decided to use these instead. If you are a serious buyer and would like me to take the music box out and take some more pictures for you I will. Just send me an email. It was purchased Brand New in 1996, I took it out of the box to make sure that it was in ok condition. I played it acouple of times, and it was put back in its box. This carousel is a one-of-a-kind collectors delight. It is an exquisite rendering of an old-fashioned merry-go-round with abundant roses (the flowers of love), cascading ribbons, sweet cherubs and hearts all cast in resin for incredible texture and detail. Each horse is approximately 3 3/4 inches nose to tail. The entire carousel stands an impressive 15 inches tall.
