VINTAGE-1950’s or 1960’s NAUTILUS SSN-58 TIN WIND-UP SUBMARINE TOY MADE IN JAPAN BY MARUSAN Up for auction is a “ VINTAGE ” 1950's or 1960’s made by Marusan Toys in Japan S.S.N.-58 Wind-up Submarine - WORKS! This toy measures about 12 ¾ inches long, and bears emblem Marusan Toys San Japan. The sub has no rust but some paint loss especially around the rudder and dive planes. The toy winds up at the top and has a friction type engine that spins the prop. Apparently, the submarine dives down and then comes back up. There seems to be a missing part on the top part of stern where the hole is. This would be an excellent addition to your Vintage Toy Tin Wind-up collection.
