Welcom to my Auction, This is a ONE TIME LISTING for a very special and rare doll called Amy. She was sculpted by Sandi McAslan and created entirely in the United States by Sandi and her family. Sandi's porcelain dolls gained recognition in all the major magazines for being whimsical, charming and completely hand made. All of the editions are small, making them very difficult to aquire. This doll called Amy is about 15" tall has a human hair wig, painted eyes and has porcelain head to shoulder, 3/4 porcelain arms, 3/4 porcelain legs. The porcelain is very smooth and high quality. Limbs are floppy so they can be posed. The rest of the body is stuffed cloth. Amy has been entriely hand painted by Sandi McAslan. She even creates the wigs and clothing. I believe her mother knitted the hats. Amy comes completel with her certificate, and violin in its case. Her clothing is all original and complete. I do not have her original box, as it was just a plain white shipper. Amy is number 20 of 100 dolls, however, often these editions were never completed. Amy apppears to me to be in like new condition spending most of her life behind glass curio. She may have slight shelf dust, but otherwise, I do not see any cracks, chips, or discolorations.
