(Lot of 8) 5-(40" x 30") and 3-(30" x 20") Artist: Herbert Paus. Another beautiful poster designed by Herbert Paus, and one of many World War I posters using children to spread their message. This one depicts a cherub-looking child with curly hair wearing nothing but red sandals and holding onto the Statue of Liberty's arm. A striking image, great for any collection! Condition:Poster 1-Good; small/minor tears on edges, left upper corner missing, edges worn slightly, small amount of dirt staining. Poster 2-Good; major tear into the graphic on upper edge, paper is yellowing slightly but not yet brittle, small amount of dirt staining on bottom edge. Poster 3-Fair; severe tear on left edge into graphic, corners wrinkled and creased, foxing and discoloring present on edges. Poster 4-Good; major tear on bottom edge near corner, corner creased and wrinkled. Poster 5-Fair; severe tears on poster, right corner missing, ink separating in center of graphic, foxing on lighter areas. Poster 6-Fine; dirt residue on top edge, corners slightly creased. Poster 7-Fine; corners slightly creased, dirt staining on top edge. Poster 8-Fine; corners wrinkled and creased; dirt staining on top edge.
