Payment | Policies Savignac Il Giorno Original Vintage Newspaper Poster This is an original, vintage poster by Raymond Savignac for the Italian Paper Il Giorno. It is NOT a reproduction. The first printing of the poster showed the main character opening the window to a black and white newspaper. When Il Giorno began printing the newspaper in color, they had Savignac add his creative touch to the poster- a rainbow signifying that the paper was now in color. The poster has been linen backed to museum paper preservation standards. It measures 39" x 55" and is in "A" condition.Retro Gallery is a full service, brick and mortar store in Houston, Texas.
