Hello, and welcome! I ask that you please read this entire listing before bidding. Have a look at my other listings, should you wish, w I will have more items of this same brand and genre to come during the course of this month (March, 2007). You are bidding on one "Savinelli" brand pipe, which is of vintage nature. The sleeve (I believe it's velvet, and not suede) shown in the picture is included in this auction. Furthermore, this sleeve is perfectly clean, and like new. This pipe is in good condition. As it has been used, it will surely need a cleaning. I will not deal with such a thing, w I don't know about pipes, and wouldn't want to mess anything up. The mouthpiece shows no toothmarks, though, t is discoloration on both sides of it, mainly on the upper portion. On this pipe at the bottom side of the wooden portion, t is the engravement, "Savinelli, Punto Oro, 620, Italy," as well as having the Savinelli logo with the "S" in the shield-like logo with two pipes over it. Nomenclature is excellent (just about like new), w I don't even need to use my magnifying glass for this one. The band is sterling silver, w it has the engravement on the left side of it, "925" (the universal number for sterling silver), and under this, "Savinelli," which is difficult to fully see in the picture, but rest assured that it's t, and very clear, since it was an issue with the light in this picture. The right side of this band has the engravement, "Sterling Mounted." All nomenclature on this band is excellent, though, this band is scratched, mainly on the upper right portion of it, and bottom portion as well. On the upper portion of the mouthpiece, t is a dot, which is in golden color. This pipe measures 6.25 inches in length from end of stem to end of bowl (when I fully bend the measuring tape around every curve from the bottom of it). From the upper portion in a straight line from end of bowl to end of stem, this pipe measures 5 inches. The bowl width of this pipe is 3/4 of an inch from inner portions of bowl, and 1 1/8 inches from outer portions of bowl. This pipe measures 1.75 inches in height.
