This is a new standard O-scale 2-rail brass model from Rich Yoder (RY Models). It is a Norfolk & Western H-9 open hopper car with split (2-piece) side sheets. N&W built many of the later open hoppers with 2 piece side sheets since the lower side tended to rust out from wet coal-created acid faster than the upper sides. It was easier and cheaper to replace the lower half of the sides rather than the entire side sheets. This model is new and professionally painted and lettered from the factory with road number 73250. There is no original box. Kadee couplers and RY sprung trucks with steel wheels.THIS ITEM HAS NOT BEEN MODIFIED IN ANY WAY! Under "Modification Description" ignore the statement "Kitbashed from 2 Weaver...". I cannot get rid of this from my listings.
