I wish I could use this flexible O-Scale track, but I am an S-Scaler. Looking for an O-Scale layout to get this track in operation!!! All of the pictures show the track in the up and down orientaion, as shown in Picture #1. The rail is most likely nickel silver, because it is definitely NOT steel, brass, copper, or aluminum. The used rail was gently and easily lifted from homosote roadbed. The used rail has no kink bends that would make the rail unusable, therefore should be 100% to 95% usable. The used rail ties ( flexible plastic ) were spray painted a realistic dull brown color, with the paint covering the bottom flanges of the rail. The new rail ties ( flexible plastic ) are a brownish - red color. The pictures may show the difference in the used and new ties color. The track in the 2 bundles is as good as the track that is laying flat for the picture. I am not sure of the track height. I would eyeball it at around 130 to 140? If Old Pullman only makes one rail height, then that is what it is. I have not researched this question. If Old Pullman makes a variety of rail heights, then I can measure the height to be sure. I combine shipping. I always pack well enough to protect the item, but do not over pack, with larger boxes than necessary or excessive packing material. The maximum weight for the track and the packaging has read more
