SCALES OF JUSTICE-VINTAGE-BRASS-MADE IN PORTUGAL This is an impressive large brass scales of justice. It is stamped "Candearte - Portugal on the top of the scale. It measures 24" high and 14 ½" wide from one end of the scale to the other. This piece has been designed with serpents in great detail. At the base are 10 weights ranging from 1/8 kg to 8. All pieces are intact. It needs a good cleaning but I will leave that to you. Since this was an estate piece, I am not sure of the age but the weight and detail of the piece indicate that it is a quality item however, the piece is sold "as is". I am sorry for the high shipping but as we all know, prices have gone up and this is a very heavy piece, tfore it will ship USPS Parcel Post and as always, I will be happy to combine shipping on multiple items.
