This collection contains an example of each of the United Kingdom Silver Proof Piedfort Coins issued in 2003: the 2 pound celebrating the 50th anniversary of the discovery of DNA, the 1 pound marking the 20th anniversary of the introduction of the first 1 pound coin in 1983, and the 50p which commemorates the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Woman's Social and Political Union.
