Scarce & early Voigtlander Bessa I with Color Skopar 3.5/105 + Voigtlander Rangefinder + original case The Bessa I is the more mundane sister model to the glamorous Bessa II. Normally fitted with a 3 element Vaskar lens, some Bessa I's were fitted with the same 3.5/105 Color Skopar as The Bessa II. This is a very highly regarded lens, capable of excellent results. The Skopar on this Bessa I is fitted in a Prontor S 1s - 1/250s shutter. A good and reliable shutter. The Bessa I is a multi format camera, you can us it as a 6x9 or as a 6x4.5. The viewfinder is adjustable for format and parallax in four positions. Very nifty, typically Voigtlander. A removable mask in the film chamber needs to be taken out to make 6x9 format negatives.. This is a great camera to start out in the 6x9 format, and it will still fit in your jacket pocket. Bessa I's are fun to own and work with. What do you get: 1. Bessa I camera: A nice looking camera in Exc+ condition with some signs of careful use. The leatherette peels a little around the edges. The Color Skopar 3.5/105 lens looks really nice. Glass and shiny blue coating intact. Some dust inside: no fungus!. The shutter works fine. It comes with the 6x4.5 mask, which is almost always missing.
