Scarce 1/2 plate tintype in a leather black leather case of a Confederate Soldier posing with 4 period rifles. Tintype measures 5-1/2" x 4-1/4" approx. and case measures 6" x 5-3/4" approx. Image is sharp and in very good condition, case is in very good condition with minor wear, and a slight separation at one corner, velvet has slight wear and brass frame is tarnished in places.
