This Civil War token (NY 630-BA-1b) is from an estate collection. While there a lot of tokens from New York City, this one is relatively scare and is rated in Fuld as R7, meaning there are only an estimated 10-20 believed to exist. This is struck in brass, much scarcer than its copper counterpart (NY 630-BA-1a). It is circulated with wear on the high points on both the obverse and reverse with no serious rim or surface nicks or dings. All lettering is clear. It is estimated to be in very fine condition, but is not certified. Overall a very nice token. It would probably be worth getting this coin certified given its scarcity. Questions welcomed.
