THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL AND SCARCE COPPER LUSTER OPEN SALT CELLAR. THIS PIECE IS FROM STAFFORDSHIRE, ENGLAND CIRCA 1850. THIS COPPER LUSTER SALT HAS A BLUE BAND WITH GOLD CIRCLES AND GOLD LEAVES. IT STANDS ON A ROUND PEDESTAL BASE AND IS 2" TALL AND IS 3" IN DIAMETER. CONDITION IS VERY GOOD WITH NO CHIPS OR CRACKS. SIMILAR PIECES FEATURED IN THE OPEN SALT COMPENDIUM ON PAGE 226.
