greetings..I have for you to peruse today a super-rare 1930's Early Bird animated alarm clock, I believe made by Westclox. This is RUNNING, but needs a service to run consistently,as it has been idle and stored for many decades. This is the early version of this clock, from the mid-thirties. Actually, this one is actually documented by it's original owner as to when it was received, on November 22, 1935!! ==THE CASE== is damage-free, and this clock is completely original other than the repainting. It has been repainted from it's original green finish, brush-painted gold by hand presumably by a young boy a long time ago. The clear photos show the state of condition very well, with the loss areas and scratching through the gold on all surfaces. The front chrome bezel is very nice and still shines. The original glass is near mint. The bottom shows the unique documentation of Jacob Benjamin, stating the day that he "got" it, November 1935. Precious documentation and dating. This clock has only been cleaned as far as the glass and chrome for presentation here. All else is exactly as-found. ==THE DIAL== is super crisp and barely toned from all of these years. Gorgeous!
