Scarce! Franklin County MA Association W.R.C.(Womans Relief Corps) Ribbon & Medal Here offered is a vintage original W.R.C. or Womans Relief Corps pinback with medal and gold colored ribbon.The ribbon as you can see is marked Franklin County Association W.R.C. 1903 and I'm pretty sure it is from Franklin County Massachusetts. We have an original GAR (Grand Army of the Republic) pinback and ribbon / medal from Massachusetts as well that came from the same estate. This WRC ribbon measures appx 2" x 5" long with the pinback attached to the top. The top of the pinback is bronze as well as the 4 side medal below that is attached to the red, white and blue ribbon. The fabric ribbons show their age but still intact and will be a great addition to your collection of post Civil War era fraternal memorabilia. The Woman's Relief Corps (W.R.C.) was an auxiliary of the Grand Army of the Republic Civil War veterans organization.
