is a very nice Champion typewriter for your consideration. It's pretty scarce, probably bordering rare. It bears a similar configuration to the Peoples typewriter, except the Champion uses a spooled ribbon. Note the nice patent-stamped spools! The index is in great original condition. The frame with gold striping was professionally redone. The button toward the middle, left of center, raises the typewheel for caps and figures. Of the two buttons on the left, the right one is the print button, which is pressed when the desired character is chosen. The left one (a little stiff in action) is pressed for spacing without printing. It's a little unusual for one of these to retain all 4 buttons. Serial number is 7411.
