Up for auction,a wonderful,very old Tetley Tea tin.With beautiful Eastern influenced paisley design and elephant heads on all sides.A very appealing decorative tin.Lid says "Tetley Tea Caddy".Bottom is embossed with "Joseph Tetley&Co. Inc. New York,N.Y.".Ends of tin say "Orange pekoe&pekoe tea 1 lb. net weight".Measures aprx. 6" long,3.5" wide and 5.75" tall.I believe this tin dates to the early 20th century.Condition is good,not great.Has some paint loss and rust especially the top w the majority of graphics are gone,just faintly visible.Lid does not remove and it sounds like t is still loose tea inside.I can find no dents.In spite of all this,still a great tin that is very displayable.Winning bidder to pay pre-set shipping/handling charge.Please e-mail all questions before bidding.THANKS FOR LOOKING!
