This is a very nice and very scarce First War period Original WW1 officers private purchase canvas and leather fitted field map case ! A very nice genuine condition, British Officer's item these style of map cases were standard kit for a army young officer , the front poclet has leather fitted loops to hold pencils ect as found within these map cases . this item is fully marked as retailed by the Young Army & Navy stores London . this is a fine early war officers campaign item to find. My collection (which has gone a little crazy over the years is still thinning out & I'm happy to pass on some of these pieces to fellow enthusiasts! Check out my feedback & !
