This is a Schatt & Morgan swing guard lockback pocket knife, made by Queen Cutlery in limited edition of 800 in 1994. I believe these were only available through A G Russel. The knife is new in the box and unused with paperwork, i believe it is the catalog page. It has a jugged bone handle and nickel silver fittings. The knife is unused with the original box and has only a few faint handling marks, it should be near perfect with a little polishing. The paperwork reads as follows, "Schatt & Morgan was founded over 100 years ago and bought by Queen City Cutlery in 1932. In 1947 Queen City changed its mane to Queen Cutlery. Queen Cutlery is still housed in the original Schatt & Morgan factory. This is the fourth year in the rebirth of the treasured old Schatt & Morgan Name. Each year the company issues six to eight different models in new bone scales. Each new series is stamped with the year the knives are made. 800 of each model has been made in each series. While all other details vary these knives always have nickel silver bolster, caps and inlay with brass liner. Series IV ( 1994 ) consists of six different models, all with the rich honey brown color old corncob bone, and the unique jugging pattern for handle scales.
