Scheibe Alsbach Figurine Michel Ney,First Prince of Moscow on horseback Signed. Description Scheibe-Alsbach Figurine depicting a French Soldier named Michel Ney The First Prince of Moscow on horseback Offered here a fabulous porcelain figure produced in Germany at the VEB Porcelain Manufacturer Scheibe-Alsbach The Soldier is in Full uniform and in motion on his beautiful white horse. The figure is hand painted in a vast array of beautiful bright colours and has the most amazing details right down to the blades of grass. The front of the base is Signed "NEY" And to the rear of the base is the factory back stamp of Scheibe Alsbach with impressed inventory numbers. At the corners of the base is an imperial golden eagle as shown in the pictures. This particular piece is truly stunning and stands out among my vast collection of porcelain as a true masterpiece. This piece would make a fantastic investment to the more serious collector of Schiebe Alsbach.
