We have been asked to help liquidate some of the precious items that belonged to a noted cellist and music professor who recently passed away. In addition to music, he dabbled in photography, painting, fine string instruments, audio recording, and medicine, not necessarily in that order. This is an item from his photography hobby. It is a large camera lens, apparently often used in landscape and perhaps aerial photography. The specs on the rim read as follows: Schneider-Gottingen No 25904 Xenon 1:2 f=12.5 cm. It is a 35mm bayonet mount for Exackta. The lens measures 6” long and weighs a whopping 3 pounds, 6 ounces. As you can see by the photos it also has a filter rim included. There is NO “hidden reserve” on this unique item, so bid on it and own it! As our feedback indicates, we represent our items fairly, and we hope you would be just as fair in dealing with us.
