Up for auction is a nice vintage Schrade #499 fixed blade hunting knife. It has a 4-7/16" long blade and an overall length of 8-3/4". It is in very good, used condition. The blade has some light scratches on it but it comes to a nice point and is very sharp. The handle is in great shape with all the leather wraps intact. The brass end cap and brass ferrule have a pattern to them (kind of like fish scales on the ferrule and a hammered copper look on the end cap) and 2 marks on the end cap that I can't identify. It is a very solid and well balanced knife and would make a great addition to anyone's collection. Sold with NO RESERVE! Please check out the other knife I have listed - shown in the last photo.
