You are now bidding on a Schrade Old Timer 25OT Folding Hunter Pocket Knife. The blade is tang stamped "Schrade U.S.A. 25OT". This is a vintage Old Timer and was made in the U.S.A. a very long time before the closeing of the Schrade Ellenville, New York facility. The Old Timer 25OT is a 5 1/4" closed, Folding Hunter pattern pocket knife fitted with carbon steel Clip and Skinner blades. The handles are saw cut Delrin which Schrade called "Unbreakable Staglon". The scales are brass pinned to brass liners and flanked with nickel silver bolsters. The front scale is inlaid with an Old Timer shield. The carbon steel blades have acquired a heavy patina of tarnish. Both have been sharpened but are down less than 10%. Both blades are very sharp and have good snap. They have only very minor wiggle in the joint. The handle shows carry wear and normal use. The bolsters have great shine and the rear bolster is drilled. The rear handle has a hair line crack at the center pin and are free of any chips. They are tightly brass pinned to the brass liners. This knife has the look you will instantly recognize as the knife that "looks just like Grandad's". In fact this one may be old enough to have been owned by Great Grandad! It will grade in Very Good condition as described. Do not let this rare lockblade 25OT slip by without a bid. The last year that read more
