Schrade Old Timer 165 Woodsman. Knife is in used condition. It is an older issue model. We rate it as good to very good condition. We leave specific grading to the experts. Knife is in nearly unused condition. 9 1/2-inch full length and 5/32 thick. Saber blade design - 4 5/8 inch blade length. Full tang construction. Unbreakable Delrin handle has no damage or cuts. Brass guard is intact - no dents. Blade looks to have never been sharpened. Factory grind marks run 90 degrees to main blade tip and carry over in to the sharpened edge. Re-sharpening would have removed these marks. Blade has minor tarnish marks typical of older carbon blades. No deep pitting damage. Full custom black belting leather sheath with sharpening stone pocket. Brass snaps, three point leg ties. Sharpening stone has been used BUT not on this knife blade. Sheath has some minor scrapes and has been previously oiled to prevent premature leather failure. All the leather is soft and pliable. Schrade first made the 165 Old Timer Woodsman in 1967. This is probably an early issue knife. Check the history. A dynamo tool for the outdoorsman. Will make a very nice addition for the collector. The Schrade factory is closed down. Very hard to find quality tools in this class without having to go to custom knife makers and pay hundreds more for similar quality and durability.
