8.5x9.75x3.25" deep original illustrated cardboard box contains Schuco set No. 1502, made in Western Germany, 1950s. Box has graphics showing "Automatic Action" and two sides depict "Shell" gas station attendant. Box has some scattered edge/corner tip wear. VF. Instructions are included. Tin litho Shell station sits on tin litho base w/"Shell" gas pump in front w/additional "Shell" graphics on side walls. Other lithography details include pair of opening garage doors and detailed interior showing racks of generic automotive products, a wall map, etc. Comes w/as issued boxed Schuco Mirakocar 1001 painted tin wind-up that comes w/Schuco key. When wound, car travels around and in/out of garage, opening door as it comes out. Works well. Unused old stock NM.
