This Schwinn 100th Anniversary Black Phantom was manufactured by the Schwinn Bicycle Company in 1995 to commemorate their 100th year in business. This bike is an exact replica of the bike built in 1949 with the exception of a Shimano rear hub. This bike is number 2433 out of 5000 built with the documentation from Schwinn. The bike has only been ridden in 2 Christmas parades and has been on protected display in my shop since new. The bike has never been wet or dropped and is in perfect condition with no scratches, rust or blemishes. This bike is not a pieced together back yard attempt to replicate a Black Phantom but is the real thing, built by Schwinn in Chicago when they were the finest bicycle company in the world.
