A development of the Ballock knife of medieval Europe , the earliest known dirk dates from about 1680, but was probably in use by at least 1650 A D. It reached its fully developed form about 1700-1725. This dirk would do any Scottish outfit proud, with its stainless steel steel blade that features traditional single edge. The epoxy grip is decorated with carved interlace patterns with a ruby pommel. Metal scabbard. The D agger blade is antiqued with a false upper edge and serrated spine. The Scabbard has a steel belt loop. The fork and knife securely lock into the Scabbard of the D agger.
