The blade of this Scottish dirk is 11 3/4" and I have included a picture of the design on the thick part of the blade. The deer antler handle is 6" long, counting the rosette. The eye guard is 3 1/4" long. The antiqued black laced leather sheath has embossed Celtic knots and is 18 1/4" long. We hand-embossed the Celtic knots, stained the leather with antique black stain and coated it with a liquid that is water-repellant when it dries. The blade is made by Windlass Steel Works. We made the sheath and cut, drilled and polished the antler and attached the handle to the tang of the blade.
