Vintage original 22 x 28 in. US half-sheet poster from the classic 1970's British horror film, SCREAM AND SCREAM AGAIN , released in the US in 1970 by American International Pictures (AIP) and directed by Gordon Hessler . A serial killer who drains his victims' blood is on the loose in London and the police follow him to a house owned by an eccentric scientist. The cast includes Vincent Price, Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing, Judy Huxtable, Alfred Marks, Michael Gothard, Anthony Newlands, Peter Sallas, and David Lodge.Printed for the film's original US theatrical release by AIP, the image features the body of a female "Composite Being" as it decomposes in a vat of boiling acid. Rolled as originally issued, this half-sheet is unrestored in fine+ condition with some surface discoloration along the left border that goes several inches into the background areas with a much lesser amount along the right border. There are no pinholes, tears, creases, writing, or other flaws.Vincent Price in interviews several years after this movie was made, said he never understood the script at all. The original novel featured aliens as the villains, but they were replaced with Communists in the movie version.
