LifeLike (now Walthers) Proto 2000 series--powered chassis only for EMD SD7 or SD9--new in box- perfect for project ! This is a brand new power chassis, never on a track. Comes with Proto's heavy diecast frame for good traction; dual flywheels, strong DC motor, etc. These are great running, great pulling engines. This chassis will work for either the SD7 or SD9 ; I super-detailed the already nice shell and couldn't bear to part with it when I went to a different, sound-equipped engine. The chassis is the later Proto run; it is DCC ready with NMRA 8-pin plug ---just waiting for YOUR custom shell project !! Item is described as accurately as possible, but sold as-is.
