This auction is for 1 sealed box of Brilliant Uncirculated 2009 "D" Lincoln's "Birth and Early Childhood in Kentucky" - Log Cabin Penny Rolls - "D" mint (50 rolls) Box is sealed, unopened and unsearched bank rolls This is the first of 4 designs that will be produced this year in celebration of the bicentennial of President Abraham Lincoln's birth and the 100th anniversary of the first issuance of the Lincoln cent. This case was purchased directly from a bank in Illinois. This 2009 Lincoln cent is one of the scarcest cents produced with only 284.8 million from the Philadelphia mint and 350 million of the Denver mint. These 2009 Lincoln pennies are the lowest mintage in over 40 years and as a result is sure to go up in value. Each roll is filled with 50 brilliant, uncirculated and unsearched coins. With the 50 rolls, that is 2,500 beautiful coins. The bottom of the box is marked "N.F. String & Son, Inc." Harrisburg, PA. 17104". Although the box is marked, I am unsure of the wrappers for these penny rolls as this is a sealed box and I have some loose rolls marked "N.F. String & Son, Inc." and some marked "Security Armored Car Service, Inc.", so, it could be either. I have no idea as all I can see is a little red and white from the top.
