Sealed Box of 250 Red OPA Ration Tokens from WWII The Office of Price Administration was formed during World War II for rationing during the war. Items rationed included canned goods, meats, sugar, coffee, tires, gas and and other things. Rationing began in 1942. OPA's were first issued in 1944 and ended in 1945. There were two color tokens. Red was for meats and fats and blue was for processed foods. The tokens were used as change for food purchased with ration stamps. This sale is for an original sealed box of 250 RED OPA tokens. Some OPA tokens are rarer and have value. Misstrikes of these tokens also have some value. This sale is for mainland USA only. Shipping is free.
