please view my other listings with hones from only £9.99 Vintage Straight Razor Hone/sharpening stone HINDUSTAN HONE from the days of the charnley and Washita hones nice patterned example size of hone 202 mm long 43 mm wide 12 mm deep all aprox the sedimentry layers can be clearly seen on the hone they have been refered to as the wooden hone(likeness to a piece of timber) and the tomb stone hone, as the stone was also used in the 1800's for grave stones the hone has been lapped flat on both faces the slurry in the image has been generated using a fine dmt diamond the hone has been dampened for images I have honed on the stone, in my opinion I would say around the 8 to 10k mark the hone is quite clean, will have been used with oil in the past.
