SEGUSO - Hand blown glass bottle decanter with certificate of authenticity Colors as shown (red ), vase is the one in the picture. Deep red contours make this decanter wonderful. The piece showcases the skills ofSeguso Family artisans. They craft the piece by hand using blown glass techniques developed in Murano, Italy.The presence of some air bubbles accentuates the nature of the traditional hand blown crafting process. Each piece is unique. For the same reason, the dimensions are approximate and can vary slightly from piece to piece. Just note that are very few pieces available of each model. Mario Seguso was born in Murano, Venice, Italy in 1929. He studied in the Venetian Institute of Art, specializing with Masters Guido Balsamo Stella e Carlo Scarpa. In 1954, Mario Seguso was invited to execute special commemorative pieces for the 400th anniversary of the city of São Paulo . Enchanted by Brazil , he decided to stay there and continue the family line in this Country opening an workshop in Minas Gerais State.
