Beautiful dinnerware plates Bavaria, Germany. From the Royal Design Collection plates were manufactured in Germany and signed Seltmann Weiden Bavaria Made in Germany on back.. The pattern is called Woodland Manor. White porcelain with a raised hatch design around the top scalloped edge surrounded by leaves and acorns in gold, brown and green with center game bird and animal designs. I have eight pieces of this, center scenes vary....there is a game bird center with what looks to be a pheasant and grouse with landscape background, one with a pair of moose , one deer scene. These dishes are fabulous and of high quality. All are in like new condition, some were still in the original box. There are three 10 1/2" dinner place with one of each scene, three 7 1/4" salad or dessert plates, one of each scene and two 6 1/2" bread plates..................one moose and one bird center scene. This china seems to have been sold by the piece as i did get one of the original boxes and it came with a dinner and a salad plate in it. An original label was on the front of the box with the company and the pattern name "Woodland Manor". I did see a few other pieces on ebay so a set can be acquired. I have no idea of the age of the pieces. All the ones I have are in like new condition and I would guess never used as there are no signs of use at all. No read more
