A vintage 9x12 handmade Persian, Tabriz?or Heriz? area rug in excellent condition. Wool composition. Approx. age--45-50 yrs. Exact measurements are 8 ft., 5 inches by 11 ft., 11 inches. (Add 4 additional inches for fringe). Condition is as follows: Carpet is in excellent condition showing no wear whatsoever. ----Fringe is in excellent condition, showing a corner with a bit of red dye, (Note photo), and a 12-inch area where fringe is a bit shorter than remainder of fringe. (Very minor).----Sides are very intact.------No stains or spots. No odors. Rug looks very, very clean. However, you may want to have it professionally cleaned in the future, as it may hold some dust residue.-----A small area in one corner quadrant, about 1"x3", shows a few scattered moth pock marks. (Very minor..seen with difficulty). Please note: The background color is Cherry-wine red. Actual colors are a bit more subdued and tastefully done. Photographed colors look a bit more vivid due to adjacent daylight reflection on carpet. Shipping is more as this carpet is nearly 100 pounds and requires a large oversized box and full insurance.
