Hi everybody! Gungirly's auctions have changed just a little bit so please read the fine print. I'm ending the summer with a BANG & have LOTS of wonderful goodies to list! Offered for auction is a beautiful turn of the century locket done in heavy repousse figural of a lion, it's mate and it's cub. I cant help but think this subject matter is a bit unusual and this beautiful locket was given as a token of love to a wife and mother. The detailing is absolutely breathtaking and this lovely locket is in excellent vintage condition. It is not marked, and does not show any wear to the gold or plating indicating it is a quality piece, heavy rolled gold or gold filled. It is marked on the inside...... It measures just under 11/2" from the top bail, and measures 1 1/4" across. It is monogrammed on the back and retains this inside rings and celluloid covers.
